TUYO is more than a restaurant.
It is the result of years of travel, culinary experience and deep passion for good food, people and new horizons.
our story
What began with a sailing journey to La Gomera became the beginning of TUYO.
Driven by curiosity, a love for different cultures and the desire to create a place for great food and inspiring encounters, our journey started many years ago.
Began as an independent restaurateur in Wiesbaden & Frankfurt.
Arrived in La Gomera by sailing boat.
Sailed from La Gomera, explored other countries and cultures - and the idea of opening our own restaurant was born.
The first TUYO opens in La Gomera

Our menu grew from dishes that have proven their success over many years - refined by the influences of the places we have visited and the people we work with.
With roots in Vietnam, Greece and Germany, our kitchen creates a unique fusion of Asian flavors and Mediterranean influences.
This style has continued to shape TUYO to this day.

TUYO opens each year from October to April. The summer break is not simply time away from the restaurant – it is part of the creative process.
During these months, the team travels, discovers new places, meets people and explores new culinary ideas. Journeys to destinations such as Norway, Alaska, Slovenia and France have continually brought new inspiration back to La Gomera.

These dishes give the kitchen the freedom to experiment with new ingredients,
seasonal ideas and inspirations gathered through travel and collaboration.

Guest chefs from around the world - especially from Japan, Norway, France and Greece - regularly enrich our kitchen with new perspectives and creativity
For the coming season we welcome a guest chef from Hamburg with Italian roots, bringing a new focus on creative vegetarian and vegan cuisine.
